Access to Our Services
When you book your 7 Day GP appointment through your GP practice, you will need to let them know if you need a translation service for sign language or if you do not speak English and need a language translator, as this can be arranged.
Leaflets and Resources
If you need any of our leaflets or resources in Braille, large print or translated into other languages, please use the form on the contact us page, ask at reception at The Family Surgery or telephone us during opening hours.
There is a Hearing Loop in place at The Family Surgery reception.
Physical Access to the Building
There is disabled parking at The Family Surgery, and the building is accessible via a ramp and an automatic door. Consulting rooms are located on the ground floor and the first floor via a lift.
If you're unsure about using our services because you don't know the location or whether or not the building will meet your needs, then we are able to offer a welcome tour so that you can visit whilst the service is closed, at 1pm on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon.
We hope that an informal visit can provide assurance to anyone who would like to use our services in future.
